Hospital
The hundreds of children make it necessary that we ensure from day one that is guaranteed for all our orphans to have an adequate health protection. Therefore, it is established on the grounds of "Orphan- Village-South Coast" in Kenya, a separate ward where our doctors can treat all patients. The infirmary is the beginning of an out-patient treatment room and three inpatient rooms.
Here, in addition to the typical childhood illnesses, all necessary precautions and vaccinations are carried out. For diseases that require an operating room or as such, we will consult with the hospital in Mombasa.
The founding members will live during the whole time with us in the Village and do their duties. In this important task of the physician is also supported by trained nurses.
Since most Kenyans have no money for health insurance, we will discuss, where possible, outsiders’ ill patients have a chance to be treated. Our goal here is to expand the ward into a real hospital.
In addition to general medical care ,we offer medical specialists, our "Orphan-Village-South Coast to visit several times a year to treat orphans free of charge for 2 to 3 weeks per visit.
